# Getting S Card

You can mint an S Card, or buy one from another holder.

### Mint

Minting sends the card to your wallet, locked in your kiosk. The price is shown at mint and is paid in SUI.

Silver cards can be minted while supply lasts. Black and emerald mint opens separately, at the price set for that tier.

If you have a mint ticket, use it before it expires. The ticket chooses the tier, and it can include a starting point balance on the card.

Once a tier is sold out, that tier can only be bought from another holder.

The card stays in a kiosk. When you buy one, it is locked into your kiosk. A sale can include a royalty.
